Does anybody evere get any legitimate trades in fantasy baseball? All the trades I seem to get offered are, one persons trash for a 1st round player, here's one i got offered I give: Johan Santana I get: Jacoby Ellsbury, Jeff Kent, Lastings Milledge and Josh Fields. Note, none of these players would even get on my starting line up. Does anybody get reasonable trades that make you think?
What were the big trades in baseball last year? I was just wondering because in my mlb the show 08, the teams are same as last years besides the off season stuff. last year i mean 2007 you tonto Thank you Ice Cold for not being dumb, I SAID BIG TRADES LAST YEAR IN 2007, PLEASE READ THE QUESTION, IT IS ANNOYING FOR YOU PEOPLE TO IGNORE WHAT I AM ASKING YOU.
Are these baseball trades fair/likely to go through? 1. I give Prince Fielder for David Wright, he has Nomar as 1b and he's not getting the job done. He also has Chone Figgins as sub for 3b. 2. I give Roy Halladay for Juan Pierre... He also has Dye, Hawpe, Crisp and Rowand for OF, but i doubt that he'd deal Rowand or Hawpe. Thanks. As replacement for Fielder, I have Mark Teixiera for back up and as I have a few 2nd tier pitchers that makes up for Halladay's numbers: Pettitte, Hill, Garza, Marquis and Wainwright.
How do you evaluate trades in your Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball league? It seems most people only look at the Y! rankings. (Also called the O Rank.) Sure they sort it to see what the player has done in the past month and week, but I would guess most owners don't look at the stats, but rather the rank for the time period. What's the fascination with this? Is it because they're lazy and looking for an instant answer? Any trade (if you're trying to improve your team) has to be judged on whether it improves your weaknesses without hurting a strength too much, right? Just to let you all know: If you have custom scoring, those rankings are not adjusted for your league, and they don't weigh a players position at all. OF's are judged on the same scale as SP's; 2B's on the same as 1B, etc. If you know anything about baseball you know how different the talent pool is at each position. Any ranking system that doesn't account for the position a player plays is garbage.
Baseball trades involving cash? Over the years, you read certain trades in Major League Baseball that involve not just exchanging players, but also the addition of cash. For example: "Boston trades Player A to Tampa Bay for Player B and $15,000 cash." But where does that cash go to? The owner's personal wallet? The team's local charity? I've been wondering this for many years.
How do I sell baseball trading cards on ebay? I have a box of 20 year old baseball trading cards that I want to sell. I'm not sure about their value but I have cards like Barry Bonds and Mark Mcgwire.(from the late 1980's) what could they be worth and how do I sell them on ebay? Is there a better place to sell them than Ebay?
Fantasy Baseball Trades? I need some help with fantasy baseball trades. I need to know some guys that I can buy-low on and possibly get a great deal. My league is a keeper league.
Need Thoughts on a couple of baseball trades? I have a couple of trade p that I wanted to get opinions on, as I’m looking to add more pop to my lineup and also get another reliable closer. Trade #1:Rich Harden for Gary Sheffield I know Harden is a sleeper but I'm worried about the fact that he's never given 200+ innings. Sheff was hurt last year but is almost always good for 500 at bats with 30 homers and 100+ rbi's. Trade #2: Torii Hunter for Francisco Cordero Hunter is my utility man and a capable 20-20 guy but I need another closer, as I believe in having 3 guys. I would love to get some thoughts on these trades. Just so you have something to work with, here is my current roster: C: Piazza 1B: Fielder 2B: Roberts SS: H. Ramirez 3B: D. Wright OF: Beltran OF: Holliday OF: Swisher Util: T. Hunter Bench: H. Kendrick Bench: C. Tracy Bench: O. Cabrera SP: Sabathia SP: Lackey SP: Sheets SP: Schilling SP: Harden SP: J. Patterson SP: A. Sanchez SP: J. Sowers RP: Rivera RP: Fuentes RP: Torre

Does anyone know how to find major league baseball trade histories? I've been trying to find a website that lists all the trades that the Chicago White Sox have made in their history. I'm more interested in the last 15 years, however I can't find any website that lists who we traded and for who. Everything is a trade rumor website or something else. Does anyone know a specific website that lists past trades? Thanks!
In baseball history, which MLB franchise disappointed most through bad free agents, trades and drafts? I ask this because the Dodgers have made some really stupid moves for the longest time and I've got to know if there was a team who has probably made less wiser decisions than LA over a long period of time. They've held onto bad prospects, traded good ones, traded healthy players to get injured players, and on and on and on. Just some names of players who could have been wearing Dodger Blue that really hurt- Paul Konerko, Roberto Clemente, Barry Bonds, Randy Johnson, Jim Edmonds, Pedro Martinez, Vladimir Guerrero The Orioles had a GREAT team in 97 or 98- I remember it was something like Bobby Bonilla, Mike Mussina, Rafael Palmeiro, Eric Davis, Brady Anderson. That team should have won the pennant.
Need Feedback on a Couple of Fantasy Baseball Trades? I have just completed one trade in my 10-team H2H non-keeper league and am contemplating making another trade but wanted to get feedback on them. Trade #1: I gave: Torii Hunter/Kelvim Escobar I get: Carlos Lee This has been accepted. I think I won this trade (as I think Hunter will slow down) but wanted feedback on it. Trade #2: I get: Arod I give: David Wright/Nick Swisher This is a potential deal. Can I afford to give Wright and Swisher or is that too much for Arod? Here is my team (assuming the Carlos Lee trade isn’t vetoed): C: Barrett 1B: Fielder 2B: Roberts SS: H. Ramirez 3B: Wright OF: Beltran OF: Holliday OF: Swisher Util: C. Lee Bench: Bonds Bench: Delgado Bench: H. Kendrick SP: Sabathia SP: Lackey SP: Sheets SP: Schilling SP: Lowe SP: J. Shields SP: Lincecum SP: Bonser RP: Rivera RP: Fuentes RP: Street (DL) Thanks for the input!!

What do you think of this fantasy baseball trade idea? My current outfielders are: Garrett Anderson, Carlos Lee, Alex Rios, Gary Sheffield (who i put as my utility player), and Chone Figgins (on the DL for about 3 or 4 more weeks) My current closers are: Mariano Rivera, Huston Street, and Takashi Saito *Eric Gagne, Jose Valverde, Brian Fuentes, and Chad Cordero are available free agents. My current starters are: Halladay, Felix Hernandez, Glavine, Pettitte, and Tim Hudson *Some available free agent starting pitchers are Chuck James, Javier Vazquez, and Jose Contreras. Should I trade Mariano Rivera, Alex Rios, and Tim Hudson for Bobby Abreu? I would also be able to maybe get a starter in return, such as Bedard or El Duque. Any other trade ideas?
