What baseball parks have you visited? What were your favorites, and your least favorite?
I have been to Wrigley Field, the Padres stadium, old Candlestick Park, the new Giants' field, the Oakland A's field, and the old King Dome and of them all I had to like Wrigley by far the best. How about you? Lane County Stadium in Eugene, Ore., was great, too, watching the Emeralds play. I agree that Candlestick was not that bad a park, you could always count on a real interesting game--the weather, the crowd, etc.
Public Comments
- FENWAY PARK, YANKEE stadium, tiger stadium, anaheim stadium, and dodger stadium! the best? yankee stadium!

- Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field, Toronto Skydome, Montreal Expo's Olympic Stadium, The old Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Camden Yards, Turner Field in Atlanta. Favorite - Fenway Park, Boston, MA Worst - Olympic Stadium in Montreal
- I have been to Wrigley Field and Cominsky Park of the two I have to go with Wrigley Field.
- I have been to Safeco Feild and Yankees Stadium... Yankees was better because i got hit in the head with a homerun ball at Safeco and i had a better chance not getting hit at the yankees stadium.
- I've been to Petco Park, Dodger Stadium, Shea Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Citizens Bank Park and PNC Park. Petco, Citizens and PNC definitely were the best out of those.
- In the majors, in service (12): Fenway, Yankee, Tropicana, SkyDome/Rogers, Kauffman, Metrodome, Anaheim/Angels, Oakland Coliseum (whatever it's now called), The Ballpark/Rangers Field, Wrigley, Minute Maid, and Coors. Since retired (12): Comiskey, Municipal (Cleveland), Tiger, Arlington, Veterans, Stade Olympique, Riverfront, Astrodome, County (Milwaukee), Three Rivers, Jack Murphy/Qualcomm, and Candlestick. Would most like to see: Giants "Telco du annum", Dodger, Camden Yards. Will almost certainly never visit: RFK, Shea. Overall favorite: The Ballpark. Everyone should visit: Yankee, because it's only got this season and next remaining.
- been to wrigley, angel stadium, miller park, old comiskey, new comiskey, metrodome and a ton of minor league ballparks fav is angels stadium cause im an angel fan , but there are a lot of good minor league parks, for instance in indianapolis or rancho cucamonga
- Petco Park, Camden Yards, Coors Field, Fenway, Chase Bank Field. Fenway for nostalgia by far. But as far as convienences go, Petco was the nicest.
- US Cellular Field, Wrigley Field, Old Comisky Park, Jack Murphy Stadium, Candlestick Park, Oakland, Old Busch, New Busch, Miller Park, Three Rivers Stadium, Tropicana Field, Great American Ballpark and Citizens Bank Ballpark. Best - Miller Park - it has the charm of a ballpark much older than it is. Worse - Wrigley - this is a horrible place to watch a game. A majority of the seats there have restricted views. You pay a lot to have some pole in your way.
- Old Comiskey, Celluar One, Miller Park, Bank One, the Metrodome. Best: Miller Park Worst: the Dome, but I love my Twins!!
- 1. Crosley Field (Cin) My first in 1962 &1963 2.Yankee Stadium All by myself from Manhattan at 16 years old. Got cheapest tickets (bleachers) and could hardly see the outfielders. 3. Forbes Field (Pit) Bussed up first time from WVA second time got picked up by 2 wild crazy girls. 4. Municipal Stadium (Cle) Many many games here one big game with Oakland right after trading Dave Duncan, double header with 72,000 5. Riverfront Stadium (Cin) 1974 Saw Rusty Staub walking to the stadium 6. Candlestick Park (SF) Reds playing before a crowd <sic> of 600, easy catching foul ball but got in trouble for hitting Clay Carroll in back of neck with a grape but was saved by Jack Billingham who was sitting out there in left field behind us and the players were throwing grapes back over their heads trying to hit him. 7. San Diego (79) Opening Day vs. Reds. They had this wild character called the "San Diego Chicken" and he was funny and the next day he was at the San Diego Zoo and I took a lot of pictures and later with my kids I met him and got his autograph "Famous Chicken" He should have signed his real name. 8. Three Rivers Stadium (Pit) I don't remember when but the name Maury Wills kept popping up. I saw him on the Dodgers, Pirates, Expos and as Seattle's Manager 9. Jacobs Field (Cle) It was sold out every game so the only thing I saw the first 3 years was an exhibition against Pirates. 10. Las Vegas Stars (Cubs & A's) This didn't look like a ball park but like a bank or something had a hard time finding it. I almost went to Busch Stadium but couldn't find a place to park and then we were hit with a Downpour so hard you couldn't drive with the wipers full force
- lets see.....wrigley field, yankee stadium, skydome, old brewer park, and both tiger stadiums (comerica)...and i like both wrigley and the new tiger stadium....its just like a picinic atomsphere.
- I have been to Dodger Stadium, Shea Stadium, Yankee Stadium, and the greatest of all Fenway Park. Fenway is the best for the old-time feel of the game. Yankee Stadium suprised me though, when you come out of those tunnels into the stands, it's like walking into Heaven. The colors and the smell of the grass just hits you like a ton of bricks. It was very exciting.
- Wow, great question. I've been to Camden Yard (now oriole park), Wrigley, The astrodome, minute maid park, Comisky, and Arlington. The best experience by far, was the day game at Wrigley...and I'm an Astros fan. Camden Yards is a close second, I went to opening day when it first was built. At the time, it was an unbelievable stadium, with it's own brewery under the field! worst had to be Comsiky...just not that nice of a stadium. And JESUS ETC, advice, don't sit behind the pole. Wrigley is by far the best day game venue around...you need to sit out in bleachers, some people i guess can't handle it.
- Candlestick Park, Oakland Coliseum, Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, Veteran's Stadium, Pac Bell/SBC/AT&T Park, Jack Murphy/Qualcomm Stadium, SkyDome, Edison Field, and I've walked past Riverfront, but never went in (although my brother was there for the infamous Who concert). AT&T Park is my favorite, Oakland is my least favorite. I liked Candlestick, too. It wasn't nearly as bad as some people say it was. Sight lines were bad at Fenway (I was in 2nd or 3rd row, down the 1st base line). Veteran's was nicer than expected.
- fenway, shea, old and new commiskey, wrigley, california angels park.fenway,yazs'400th,shea-george foster pickin his nose, old commiskey, harold baines 2-2run dingers, new commiskey, scott radzinski picked up my buddies cig and gave it to him from the bull pen, wrigley the budweiser, california angels-puking my 4 hotdogs up on the lady who yelled at me for not standing during the national anthem and the fact that they where once called the califirnia angels.i loved em all.
- Yankee Stadium, Fenway, and Camden yards.....all GREAT ball parks...Im a Yankee fan so I have to say that the stadium is my favorite....so rich in history.
- fenway park the bestest
- Favorites: Fenway Park, Boston: I'm a Red Sox fan, so this one has to top the list. It's a classic small park with lots of quirks and corners. Wrigley Field, Chicago: Another classic park, with lots of sunshine. PNC Park, Pittsburgh: A beautiful new park, well integrated into the city and with great skyline views. Jacobs Field, Cleveland: Combines the best aspects of the old-time parks with modern amenities and comfort. Camden Yards, Baltimore: Another great blend of old and new styles. Not so favorites: McAfee Coliseum, Oakland: An architecturally uninspired big, flat dish where all the seats are too far away; a classic problem in a dual-use (baseball & football) stadium. Rogers Centre (SkyDome), Toronto: When the dome is open, it's tolerable; when the dome is closed it's like watching baseball in a basement. Olympic Stadium, Montreal: Thankfully, this one is no longer in use, but it was horrible.
- I have been to the old stadium in Seattle, called the Kingdom, I miss it so much even though I dont live in Seattle any more, but still it was only built in 1977 and they tore it down or should I say they exploded it in the early 2000's..Heck the reason I'm so close to the Kingdom is/was my uncle helped install insulation in it, and I got to see the behind the scenes of the entire stadium, and wow what a site to see.
- I've been to Wrigley Field old County Stadium in Milwaukee The big A in Anaheim and Chavez Ravine in Los Angeles. My favorite is Dodger stadium, not a bad seat in the place and it is so clean you could eat off the floor. But Wrigley Field has that great atmosphere.
- I have been to Fenway Park, Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium after they remodeled it . To me Fenway Park is the best
- Safeco Field in Seattle is by far the best that I have ever been to. I would highly reccomend going to watch your favorite team if they have a road trip there. Even Seattle's fans were nice to non Seattle fans. I was wearing an angel's shirt and this Seattle fan had to leave and out of anybody he chose the Angels fan (me) and gave me his front row seat along third base. It was great. The field was in excellent condition. And although it is hard to admit it also beats our stadium in L.A.
